Always amazes me how many awards are given out! I am surprised that it doesn’t take longer. I like those “big checks” and seeing where all the money goes. While water was available at the drinking fountain we could have used some drinks to go with all the pizza and watermelon. What a feast! How many years before I win a bear in the random drawings???

Good, except maybe there should be no duplicate awards giving (ie: first overall, and masters, and age group first place to the same people)... that way more people can win something. The winners should always be heavily rewarded and recognized..

I did not attend. My husband did not make the 3:30 mark so I waited for him and we went home afterwards. It looked like fun though.

I don’t know ..it was getting so hot I hopped in my air conditioned car and hoofed it back to Denver.

I left before the end of the ceremony, because it seemed to drag on a little bit, but not too bad.

I like Matt’s approach to awards ceremonies—get em done as soon as possible. A little over 1 hour for everything they do is awesome. Great Job.

I thought it was pretty cool. Especially the part with the free massages.

I’m sorry, but I did not stick around for the awards ceremony. It was hot and I headed home about 10:30am to rest, refuel, rehydrate, and recover.

It seems to move along, and I think folks appreciate the depth of recognition that you give!

The awards ceremony was awesome! You got started right on time, and there were so many great awards! The length of time was perfect. Thanks for the watermelon and pizza! I can tell the race director is a competitive runner. You treat all of us competitors in a way a runner wants to be treated...great recognition, great food, great prizes…

The ceremony was a little long, but given all of the age categories it couldn’t have been much shorter. Seems a little redundant to have both age group and “masters” categories.

The length was just right, especially since some of us were getting massages at the same time!
