Were there enough aid stations and were they well stocked? (177)

1 or 2 more aid stations would have been nice.

Aid stations and the volunteers were great... Very enthusiastic, always able to get water or Gatorade... Made us feel great

aid stations good

Aid stations were all excellent, especially on a day a hot as this one.

aid stations were awesome

Aid stations were awesome.

aid stations were excellent

Aid stations were excellent... Enthusiasm was super motivating (especially the aid-providers response to a little bit of enthusiasm from the runners!)I appreciated “Margaritaville,” calling our MY name in encouragement as I passed!

Aid stations were fantastic, as usual. Major kudos to the high schools again.

Aid stations were fine

Aid stations were positioned appropriately, but Barr Camp ran out of Carb-boom — much needed on a day like Sunday. It’s a long way back down to No Name. I didn’t bring any backup, anticipating the promised supplement.

All aid stations were excellent

As a high school X-C coach, I love the aid stations. It does a great deal for our program and the kids love it.

awesome aid stations, they made me feel like a hero, calling out my number and 1 station even had the sheet to look up our name and that was great! Lots of h20, Gatorade and gels thanks!

Because of the heat, we could of used more water on MM.

Enough aid stations, but they ran out of gel (at least by the time I got there).

Excellent aid stations — the best

Excellent aid stations. This high schoolers really make this race for me.

Fantastic!

Give the heat factor this year, for me the aid stations didn’t come soon enough. I thought that there could have been one maybe two more.

Good aid stations. They were placed in a manner that helped give me incentive to get to the next one for more water! I always seemed to have enough water. Only occasionally did I feel short of water but had chosen not to carry any because of the frequency of the official stations.

Great

Great aid stations and support

I brought my own water this year because i got dehydrated last year So the number of stations was ok for me.

I like that they are at the same location as PPA. The aid stations were very well run. Volunteers announced where the water and Gatorade were located. I really appreciated the aid station (Barr??) that handed the gels out 50 yards before the water. It was possible to eat the gel before getting to the water.

I like the fact that you use the same stations as the Marathon (or is that the other way around). I learned that I may need to bring my own if we get another hot day like this!!!

I loved the aid stations. Those kids really pump you up. It’s fun to read all the signs heading to them.

I think for most there were enough, but I got very dehydrated, so one more between Bob’s and B/C would be nice?

I thought the aid stations were great!!! I loved the stuff at the bottom too. They ran out of cups at the 12th switchback station for us at the end but no problem at that point. Great job!!!

I would have preferred more aid stations, I was dying for drink in between the stations.

I would like to see some food at Barr Camp like Bananas

In general — yes, though with the extreme heat a couple more would have been optimal

It was hot enough to necessitate a few more stations. They were well-stocked.

Last water station was out of cups and I really needed water in that heat. In retrospect I would have happily used a cup that someone else had already used just to dump water over my head. I wish they had offered that. I was also told when I got to the finish line that there was no more water there, yet I had passed a truck 1/2 mile before the finish line with about 30 jugs of water in the back. Although no one was offering that water, I did stop and take some.

Margaritaville was awesome, very cold water, cold Gatorade.

Missed the first aid station going up. Not sure it was set up.

Need non caffeinated gel.

NO! The last aid station was OUT of cups towards the end of the race (Hottest part) I believe this directly led to people not finishing the race and to some COLLAPSING at the bottom of the trail. I was VERY disappointed, and HOT!

One more would be nice since many participants don’t carry water. Aid stations are always well stocked.

Outstanding!

People at the Aid station were great-highly motivated full of energy-Thanks

Plenty of aid stations

Prefect spacing! The Barr Camp station ran out of Carb-Boom just as I was passing through but I had my own snackies so it wasn’t an issue.

The aid stations were a highlight in the race. The volunteers are supportive, upbeat and funny. They were very well stocked.

The aid stations were fantastic

The aid stations were good, another one wouldn’t hurt anything though.

The aid stations were good. Those kids sure are enthusiastic.

The aid stations were great!! The kids were incredibly enthusiastic.

The aid stations were wonderful!

the start aid station was a little slow to provide water

There were enough aid stations and plenty of water and Gatorade as well as volunteers.

there were enough aid stations but it would help to fully fill the cups

there were enough stations and they were well stocked I thought. but I only got one carbboom that was on the way up could have used another one on the way down

There were enough, but since it was a hot day, I should have brought my own water.

They were fine for me, but a slower runner told me that the last aid station (near top of Ws) was already shut down by the time she got there...and at that time she was still on track to make the cutoff time. So she didn’t have any water from No Name Creek to the finish.

They were good — kids/others that helped were awesome.

this year, because of the heat, there were not enough aid stations

Very good aid stations

very well done

Water hand-offs were bad. Dropped 3 cups as a result. Someone should teach volunteers how to do it.

water too hot

well stocked, maybe one more aid station

well stocked, yes. On a super hot day, you really notice the gap between Bob’s road and the camp.

Yes and yes and the enthusiasm of the teams was a huge treat. Could use a little protein at the finish line — like maybe pieces of the Powerbar Protein Plus. (Hate to complain at all about the food at a race that offered so much food, but feedback was requested)

Yes, they were the best...

Yes, very good!

Yes, very good. Only one change: have the majority of food at the bottom, in soda springs park, and only a little at the finish- I think most people don’t get really hungry until they get down there anyway. All I need at the finish is water and some fruit.

Yes, very well stocked.
