I like the awards ceremony. I get a real kick out of seeing how much money was raised for the community. Makes me feel proud of the running community.

Just right. It is well done. If the aim is to draw more kids into running & racing, get them all up on stage to recognize them. It can be a big boost to their enthusiasm & keep them coming back.

Just right. The sound system made the speeches mostly inaudible, or it could have been due to the speakers inexperience. The award winning times were mostly given after the persons name was called. The applause downed out the time, which is of interest. The finish times should always be given first, then the persons name. The GOG did it right.

Lots of awards- but I guess that is a good thing

maybe a little too long (my kids were antsy!)but I definitely enjoyed seeing those recognized who volunteered and gave so much. What great sponsors and volunteers.
